About Jim
Hello I’m Jim. I am from Portland, Oregon in the U.S. I have a four year degree in communications with an emphasis in journalism. I worked for FEN (Far East Network) in the early 1990s as a reporter and newscaster. Today it is called AFN (American Forces Network).
My family and I moved back to Japan in 2003. I worked for four-plus years at a large English school. I opened up my own school in January 2008 and have been teaching ever since.
